About The Position

Red Robin Kelowna is hiring Servers to join our front-of-house team. If you enjoy meeting people, staying active, and creating great guest experiences, this could be a great fit. Previous serving experience is welcome, but it is not required. If you have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training to help you become a confident Server.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with guests
• Enjoy working with people and being part of a team
• Can stay organized while handling multiple tables and priorities
• Dependable and show up ready to work
• Maintain a positive attitude during busy shifts
• Willing to learn our menu and service standards
• Take pride in providing great hospitality
• Available for a combination of day, evening, and/or weekend shifts
• Serving It Right certification is required for liquor service in British Columbia.

Nice To Haves

• Previous serving experience is an asset, but not required.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, hosting, bartending, or another guest-facing role can also be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive experience from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Learn the menu and help guests with recommendations
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately
• Check in with guests and anticipate what they may need
• Process payments accurately
• Keep your tables and section clean and organized
• Work closely with Hosts, Bartenders, Expeditors, and our kitchen team
• Follow responsible alcohol-service and food-safety procedures
• Help create an experience that keeps guests coming back
