About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Crestone located at 21810 W 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The position requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
