About The Position
Ovation Communities is seeking a Server to serve meals to the residents and guests in the dining room. Ensures that the dining room is clean and dirty dishes have been picked up for cleaning.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of food service experience (server, wait staff, order taker, cook, stocker, etc.).
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
- Read, write and speak English
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a skill nursing facility highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Set-up dining rooms prior to meal service.
- Fill and re-stock various food, condiments and supplies, either in the kitchen or the dining rooms.
- Assist in the seating of residents and guests as necessary.
- Wait on tables, using proper service procedures.
- Take plates, food, etc. away from tables when the resident is completed with the item/meal.
- Assist guests and visitors with the proper ordering procedure in the dining rooms.
