About The Position

The Server role focuses on providing friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests in various dining areas, including dining rooms, patios, lounges, and at events. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, answering questions about offerings, accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, monitoring guest needs, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas. The role also involves collaborating with kitchen and bar staff, assisting with event setup and breakdown, communicating feedback to management, upholding club standards, and handling member concerns professionally. Additional duties may be assigned by Bluejack leadership.

Requirements

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, attention to quality and detail.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior serving experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests in dining rooms, patios, lounges, and at events
  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and daily specials
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy of orders
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently between courses and after meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas, including side stations and server trays
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and beverage service guidelines to ensure a clean and safe dining environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for daily service or special events
  • Communicate member and guest feedback or concerns to management as needed
  • Uphold the standards and service expectations of the club and represent the community with professionalism
  • Maintain knowledge of club offerings, including menus, wine lists, and upcoming events
  • Handle member problems and complaints as professionally as possible or refer to F&B leadership for support.
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of all major club functions and events as needed.
  • Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
