Server 9:30am-1pm $15-21.25 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Kentridge, located at 5241 Sunnybrook Road, Kent, OH 44240. This role involves greeting residents, preparing tables and salads, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to communicate effectively in English, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
