About The Position

Emerald Heights is a 5-star retirement community in Redmond, Washington, dedicated to providing the best senior living experience. We offer a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. Our beautiful campus restaurants are a highlight, and we are seeking Servers with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality. We offer flexible scheduling with various shifts available. The Independent Dining Room Server is responsible for table service in the residential dining rooms, operating similarly to a restaurant but serving residents who live on campus.

  • Must pass a criminal background check and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

  • Provides residents and guests with superior customer service.
  • Takes residents’ and guests’ food orders, places food orders and servers requested items graciously with courtesy.
  • Answers residents’ and guests’ menu questions.
  • Maintains safe and sanitary conditions for dining rooms and staff work stations.
  • Performs cleaning assignments.
  • Sets and clears dining room tables.
  • Maintains work stations.
  • Follows proper food handling techniques and maintains standards of quality for all dining areas.
