About The Position

The Server is a core team member of P.F. Chang's scratch kitchen restaurant, providing an individualized and exceptional guest experience. Servers guide guests through their dine-in experience by helping them choose menu items, answering questions, taking and serving food and beverage orders, and processing payments. The role requires delivering welcoming hospitality while working collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience is not required; training is provided.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Must meet the state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Must have a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or obtain one with the employer’s assistance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, teamwork-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate, deliver, and exceed guests’ expectations to provide an excellent hospitality experience.
• Understand the restaurant menu, help guests choose menu items, and answer their questions.
• Guide guests through the dining experience by taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders and processing payments.
• Understand the restaurant seating layout and server areas, and deliver food throughout the restaurant.
