About The Position
At Amore Italian Restaurant & Lounge, our team of servers provides excellent service by taking and delivering orders, supporting the Front of House team, and completing any other tasks necessary to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience. In addition, servers assist in supporting restaurant operations by demonstrating true hospitality through exceptional people skills, food & beverage knowledge, and service techniques.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1+ years' experience working in a multi-faceted food service facility, including restaurant, hotel or country club
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products and services
Nice To Haves
- Experience with MICROS or other POS systems
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service by creating a positive and energetic atmosphere at every table
- Serve guests in a courteous, attentive and efficient manner when maintaining tables, placing orders and collecting payments
- Provide guests with a reason to return to the restaurant by building rapport
- Take and deliver orders
- Support the Front of House team
- Complete any other tasks necessary to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience
