Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Ability to carry trays, plates, and beverages safely and confidently.
Prior serving experience preferred; however, a sincere commitment to hospitality and learning is essential.
Must maintain current alcohol service certification per state or local requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional guest experience with every interaction—warmly welcoming, anticipating needs, and ensuring guests feel valued throughout their visit.
Present the menu with enthusiasm and knowledge, highlighting chef features, drink specials, and any current promotions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clarity and attention to special requests, allergies, or modifications.
Possess thorough menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings.
Effectively communicate with culinary and bar teams to ensure precision and timing of service.
Manage the pacing of each table to balance comfort, flow, and volume demands.
Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and organization of tables and sections before, during, and after service.
Handle all payment transactions accurately and responsibly, including cash handling, credit card processing, and gift card transactions.
Support fellow team members by pre-bussing, running food, and assisting as needed to maintain Red Door’s high service standards.
Maintain awareness of the entire dining room by anticipating needs, reading guest cues, and assisting proactively.
Uphold all Red Door standards of professionalism, appearance, and hospitality—always representing the spirit of Leave your troubles at the door.
