About The Position
Larksfield Place Retirement Communities is seeking a Part-Time Assisted Living Server to join their team. This role involves creating memorable dining experiences for residents in a vibrant senior living environment. The server will be responsible for greeting residents, taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring the dining room is well-maintained. The position emphasizes providing restaurant-style service in an upscale setting and contributing to a culture of exceptional care and hospitality. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Physical exam showing freedom from communicable diseases required
- Courteous, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work the 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM evening schedule, four days per week
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests with warmth and professionalism
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently, ensuring excellent presentation and accuracy
- Check in with residents during meals and respond promptly to additional service needs
- Perform side work, including table setup, restocking, and cleaning, to maintain a polished dining room
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth dinner service
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
- Respond to resident feedback and service needs with respect and a helpful attitude
- Help create a welcoming, restaurant-style dining experience for our Assisted Living residents
