About The Position

The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is recruiting an Hourly full-time/ part-time Server to join our Food & Beverage team. The candidate would report to the Food and Beverage Director/ Restaurant Supervisor and collaborates with the Catering Manager. You will work as a cohesive crew with the culinary team to deliver exceptional service to the membership. We need an individual who possesses integrity and accountability to ensure that Richmond Country Club's professional standards are met with kindness. Requirements

  • Serving experience of 1 year (required)
  • Serving It Right
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale software
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Richmond, BC- reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of proper service etiquette - Club experience is an asset
  • Preferrable environment: experience in casual fine dining

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for providing exceptional, consistent, and courteous customer service to the RCC members and guests
  • Employing a strong understanding of food and beverage menu offerings
  • Assisting colleagues throughout service, including opening, and closing duties, as well as supporting the flow of service
  • Serving and clearing food and beverage by maintaining consistency in service standards
  • Understanding of event orders, and a familiarity with event set up and service in accordance with event standards
  • Ensuring standards for cleanliness, and presentation are met for all set ups and food and beverage service
  • Setting up the floor while maintaining floor layout, including arrangement of tables, linen, chairs, place setting, buffets and any other guest requirements as required.
  • Developing a familiarity with Jonas Point of Sales Software
  • Teamwork and cooperation especially with the back of house culinary staff and all front of house staff where relevant, such as during events, meetings and banquets
