About The Position

The position is part time and pays $6.00 per hour + tips. The restaurants are located in the Greensboro, GA area, approximately 45 minutes from Milledgeville and 1 hour from Athens. This position may be scheduled for occasional banquet event or special events outside of your home department during the peak season: spring, summer and fall.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry a service tray complete with dishes.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
• Must have a congenial disposition.
• Able to walk and stand through the duration of shift.
• 2 years food service experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Outgoing personality, with a distinct sense of hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves guests as directed per established standards.
• Able to serve guests efficiently, in a timely fashion.
• Able to handle a reasonable workload of tables (4-5).
• Complete all required opening and closing sidework per sidework schedule.
• Execute all proper beverage and wine service.
• Attends all meetings to include: Menu class and monthly meetings.
• Guest check completion in a timely and accurate fashion.
