About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Server to work approximately 12 to 17 hours/week at Immanuel Courtyard, located at 6757 Newport Avenue, Omaha, NE 68152. Immanuel Courtyard has 70 independent living and 68 assisted living apartment homes. A desire to work with the elderly is crucial for a successful candidate in this position. The schedule for this position is: Saturday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (required), Sunday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (required), Some weekday evenings from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM as needed. Holidays are required if it is already an assigned day to work. This position will pay up to $16.15/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

Minimum age of 14 years old required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service experience preferred.
A desire to work with the elderly is crucial for a successful candidate in this position.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, attentive, and professional service to residents and guests.
Take meal and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
Assist with dining room setup, service, and cleanup.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
Communicate effectively with residents, kitchen staff, and the Dining Services team.
Support a positive dining experience by treating every resident with dignity and respect.
