About The Position

As a server at Hemingway’s Tavern you will be stamping the passports of our Guests on their dining adventure. You will captain each Guests’ journey through craft beverages and cuisine influenced by the regions travelled and called home by Ernest Hemingway. A Hemingway’s server is dedicated to 100% Guest satisfaction! It falls on you to ensure our Guests receive this experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older, to serve alcohol.
• Friendly, warm and caring attitude that is always ready to greet Guests and team with a smile
• Great time management and multi-tasking skills
• Thinks and acts quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Works well with a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience is a plus, but not required! We will train you

Responsibilities

• Greet each guest and provide an excellent experience
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle and count money
• Expedite food, get beverages, and deliver these items to our Guests
• Helping fellow Team Members when appropriate
• Able to work walking/standing for 100% (up to 8 hours) of shift
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary (30 lbs.)
• Maintain cleanliness throughout dining room and bar area to company standards
