About The Position

The Server – Hawks Peak delivers outstanding guest service in a high-energy, entertainment-driven environment where sports, food, and hospitality come together. This position plays a key role in creating a lively and welcoming experience for all guests by providing timely, friendly and knowledgeable service. The Server ensures each guest interaction reflects the venue’s fun, fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining the professionalism and elevated service standards expected through the casino & hotel property.

Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in a sports bar, restaurant or casino dining environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and handheld ordering devices.
  • Effective Communication: Clear, respectful, and proactive in both verbal and written communication with team members and guests.
  • Guest Service Focus: Committed to delivering memorable guest experiences through attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Multi-Tasking & Adaptability: Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
  • Food & Beverage Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including responsible alcohol service and service timing.
  • Knowledge Retention: Strong memory for menu items, modifications and venue promotions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an integrated Casino Hotel and/or a Forbes or AAA rated property.
  • Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
  • Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
  • The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I).
  • DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and enthusiastically, creating a warm and energetic first impression.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders while establishing rapport and delivering elevated guest service.
  • Offer informed recommendations on food, drinks, and venue promotions, including sports programming.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
  • Deliver drinks and food with precision and timeliness, ensuring guest satisfaction at each step.
  • Check back with guests regularly to anticipate needs, offer refills, and enhance the dining experience.
  • Maximize guest experience and sales through suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
  • Promote venue-specific events, promotions, and specialty items to drive guest engagement and sales.
  • Pre-bus and maintain tidy tables throughout the dining experience to support efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Reset tables quickly and accurately to ensure readiness for the next guest seating.
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and shift duties including stocking and sanitation tasks.
  • Maintain clean and organized service areas, including wait stations, floors, and communal spaces.
  • Follow all WA State liquor laws and MAST guidelines to ensure safe and compliant alcohol service.
  • Remain alert to signs of overconsumption and take appropriate action in coordination with leadership.
  • Assist team members during peak periods by running food, helping with bar or host duties, and refilling beverages.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and communicate effectively to support seamless operations and team cohesion.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgency, escalating when needed.
  • Ensure each guest leaves satisfied and with a positive impression of the venue and team.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as requested by leadership to support departmental goals.
