About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Crestone located at 21810 W 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061. This is a Part-Time position. The role involves being a "Host with the Most" by greeting residents and fostering a welcoming environment, a "Peppy Prepper" by preparing tables and assisting with meal preparation, a "Titan of Tidiness" by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness, and an "Appetite Anthropologist" by observing and reporting on resident dietary habits and appetite changes.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Buss tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
• Report when residents are absent from meals.
