About The Position

The Milwaukee Improv is looking for energetic and outgoing Servers to join the team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Laughter is a key part of the job, and the team aims to deliver fun to customers and team members.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, especially nights and weekends.
• High school diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 or more years of experience in restaurants or clubs.
• ServSafe Food Handler and TIPS or LEAD Certificate.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitary procedures.
• Sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.
• Sufficient communication in English to ensure effective interactions with guests.
• Consistently demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Be able to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to guests by taking orders for food and beverage and inputting correctly into the POS.
• Make recommendations to guests based on menu knowledge.
• Ensure guests ordering alcohol are of legal age and monitor alcohol intake to prevent over-intoxication.
• Identify guests who may need assistance with transportation due to alcohol consumption and inform management.
• Partner with bartenders, bussers, and runners to set up, maintain, and break down service stations.
• Provide suggestions for enhancing service.
• Clean glassware, utensils, and place settings as needed.
