About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Wildwood located at 3002 South John Duffy Drive, Joplin, MO 64804. This part-time position involves greeting residents, preparing tables, bussing tables, and observing resident dining habits. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and in case of falls. A criminal background check is required.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
