About The Position

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our members and guests. Each server’s primary objective is to show our members and guests such a marvelous time; they will want to return again and again.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, members and guests.
  • Must be computer literate and able to learn the POS system.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to operate the point-of-sale system.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet members, making them feel comfortable and attended to.
  • Inform members of specials and menu changes.
  • Make genuine recommendations for food and beverages.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to members promptly.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required.
  • Maintain clean service areas.
  • Monitor members' dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and responding to requests.
  • Participate in "Up Selling" programs as directed.
  • Prepare final bills, present checks, and process payments.
  • Assist fellow servers as needed.
  • Assist bus persons with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Thank members for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
