About The Position

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, located in Lambertville, New Jersey, and a proud member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking an experienced and team-oriented candidate for a part-time Server position. The restaurant is committed to providing personalized service to make every guest's experience enjoyable and memorable. The ideal candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.

Requirements

At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred.
Must be creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time management skills.
Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.
Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.

Responsibilities

Orchestrate the food and beverage service for a station of tables and be the face of the establishment.
Develop rapport with guests, offering warm, efficient, and thoughtful service.
Possess a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service in general.
Execute the restaurant’s vision and philosophy.
Improvise and make impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and the restaurant’s policies and standards.
