Requirements

A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
1 year food service experience (required)
If under the age of 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
Server must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation.

Nice To Haves

1 year senior living/healthcare experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Bring meals over to our Memory Care building.
Set up hot/cold food line.
Plate all Memory Care meals while maintaining portion control.
Track/manage food temperatures and dish machine temperatures.
Maintain stock of items in the Memory Care kitchen including food, drinks, supplies, and cleaning chemicals.
Manage Food Safety within the kitchen (labels/dates, safe food and/or chemical storage, rotating stock, proper serving temperatures.)
Wash dishes in the dish machine.
Maintain organization/cleanliness.
