About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at The KentRidge Senior Living in Kent, Ohio. This is a PRN (as needed) position with a flexible schedule. The Server plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive environment for residents, ensuring smooth meal services, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. This role involves direct interaction with residents, preparing the dining space, and assisting with meal service and cleanup.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
Bus tables.
Sweep floors.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Assist persons after a fall.
