About The Position

Fogo de Chão is hiring a Server (also described as Waiter/Waitress) to welcome guests and support their dining experience while showcasing the restaurant’s Churrasco service. Servers greet and assist guests, explain menu items and preparation methods, take beverage and dessert orders, relay special meat requests to Churrasqueiros, and coordinate order processing and payment with Cashiers. The role also includes helping other Servers and completing beginning- or closing-shift duties.

The position has a fixed rate of $12.14 and is eligible to receive tips. Additional details about tips are provided during onboarding or upon request. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to eligible full-time hourly Team Members starting on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Requirements

• Able to transport objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
• Pull each guest’s chair and place the napkin in their lap.
• Present the menu and answer questions about menu items.
• Answer questions about preparation methods and the continuous table-side serving concept.
• Take and serve beverage and dessert orders.
• Communicate special meat requests to the Churrasqueiros.
• Place orders with Cashiers for processing and payment.
• Assist other Servers in their areas when appropriate.
• Complete beginning- or closing-shift duties.
