About The Position

Join The Mather's Food & Beverage team as a Server and bring exceptional dining experiences to life in a luxury senior living environment. In this role, you will deliver professional, timely food and beverage service across multiple restaurant venues, each offering distinctive service styles and experiences. You’ll build meaningful connections with residents, family members, and guests—sharing insights on innovative, ever-changing menus, discussing our scratch kitchen approach, and guiding guests through our elevated food and beverage program. We’re looking for someone who is truly passionate about food, hospitality, and delivering high-end service, with a natural ability to create memorable dining moments. Requirements

  • Excellent interaction and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork.
  • Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people.
  • English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year or more of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.
  • Prior service experience in dining environment.
  • Level 4 LobsterInk Certification.
  • 2 or more years of server experience in an upscale restaurant.
  • Event server knowledge and experience.
  • Foundational level of wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
  • Takes accurate food orders.
  • Serves food and beverages in multiple restaurant venues with differing styles of service.
  • Is knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings and can provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Promptly and accurately closes checks.
  • Always maintains a neat and orderly appearance according to established standards.
  • Completes related tasks and side work as assigned.
  • Demonstrates a positive, respectful, and professional team approach and communicates effectively with residents, peers, and managers.
  • Consistently communicates resident and guests concerns to supervisors and/or management.
  • Assists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goals.
  • Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process
