About The Position

Fox Bros BBQ Servers are a key member of the team. They must be personable, professional, courteous, and possess a high sense of urgency in the workplace. It is the server’s responsibility to provide exceptional customer service through long periods of high volume. Fox Bros’ servers are the face of the restaurant and are expected to represent the company’s values at all times. The server must possess the ability to communicate with guests and coworkers in a respectful manner and are expected to strive towards absolute guest satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2-year serving experience
Available to work holidays
Smile
General beer/cocktail knowledge
Customer service experience
Multitasking
Able to work under stressful situations without showing it
Stay organized
Able to communicate with others – including guests and coworkers
Have positive attitude with a professional mentality
Must have Teamwork mentality and thrive in a Team environment
Good attention to detail when splitting checks/payments
Positive leadership skills
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in various environments and climates.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized work space
Arrive to work on time, in uniform, ready to work
Must have a high sense of urgency
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
Good time management skills
Must have good personal hygiene
Make sure the guest’s food is coursed properly
Keep up to date on the rotating beer list and daily specials
Self-motivated to go above and beyond in the workplace
Provide the guests with detailed menu information, including allergies, vegetarian options, etc.
Must uphold Food Safety and Sanitation practices
Be efficient when seated multiple times in a short period
Provide exceptional customer service
Assist the restaurant by running food/helping with To Go orders
Help guests with merchandise purchases
