As a Server, you will take food and beverage orders from guests, serve items, maintain guest satisfaction, take payments and respond to complaints and/or concerns of guests. This role requires maintaining thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage offerings, correct glassware, and garnishes. You will greet, welcome, and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, set tables according to service standards, and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and equipment throughout the shift. Serving food and alcoholic beverages, answering menu and beverage questions, and processing orders in the POS system promptly are key duties. You will also communicate special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen accurately, check in with guests during service to ensure satisfaction, and anticipate and address service needs. Accurately presenting checks, processing payments, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation are also part of the role. Maintaining knowledge and proper use of equipment, including cleaning procedures, and operating equipment only as intended is essential. Communication with the kitchen regarding menu questions, product availability, wait times, and order changes is crucial. Assisting team members by running food, bussing tables, and restocking when possible, and completing closing duties, including restocking items and securing service areas, are expected. Maintaining a clean, professional uniform and appearance at all times, supporting the team by developing positive relationships and working toward common goals, and adhering to quality, safety, and service standards at all times are also important. Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors may be required.
