About The Position

As a Server at Juliet Italian Kitchen, your role is vital to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests by ensuring their needs are met efficiently and timely while also ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. Juliet Italian Kitchen is a destination for anyone seeking a relaxed Italian spot for a date night, business lunch or casual weekend brunch. Juliet is in the heart of Austin’s beloved Zilker Park in Central Austin, at The Arboretum in North Austin and soon to be on the square in Georgetown, TX. All locations are known for their patios and welcoming atmosphere. Owned by Veneto Hospitality, Juliet embodies community and camaraderie through shared meals between friends and family.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Ability to work on their feet all day and lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
The Server role is physically demanding and requires the following abilities: Standing for significant periods of time, Walking, lifting, bending, and twisting movements, Clear communication, as the role involves taking orders and interacting with guests
We expect excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide them with exceptional service throughout their meal
Guide guests through the menu, including making recommendations and answering questions
Take accurate orders and enter them into our point-of-sale system in a timely manner
Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper plate presentation and food temperature
Monitor and anticipate guests’ needs and assist with any requests including refilling drinks, providing additional condiments and utensils as needed
Respond appropriately to complaints and bring them to the attention of management
Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning tables and workspaces, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the best possible dining experience
