About The Position

The Server is responsible for serving the members and guests in the dining areas. Servers are also responsible for back work required to maintain the dining experience, including cleaning, wrapping silverware, machine cleaning, etc. Jubilation fully embraces a culture of hospitality, guiding interpersonal interactions with members, co-workers, and guests through specific hospitality promises. Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers.
• Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20lbs. independently.
• Must be able to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50lbs. independently.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently throughout the work day.
• Must be able to see, hear and speak.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, serve members and guests in the dining areas drinks & food.
• Ensure an excellent member dining experience by following standards set forth by the dining manager, Executive Chef, and General manager.
• Stock server side stations with polished glasses, bread and butter plates, coffee saucers and coffee cups at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist with dish cleaning and stocking as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a high level of customer service for our member and their guests.
• Assist in dishwashing and distribution of clean dishes if needed.
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in the work areas.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress codes.
• Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned supervisor.
