The role of a Server (Front of House Team Member) is to serve and love people by cultivating kindness, making guests feel welcome and valued, and supporting teammates to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

Ability to focus on several tasks at once.

Ability to use a touch screen tablet for order taking/payment processing.
Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to follow directions exactly as expected.
Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
Attention to detail.
Mobility required during the entire shift.
Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items from tables throughout the restaurant.
Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

Communicating with other servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, expo's, and management to ensure tables are updated and available.
Maintaining the seating system and waitlist.
Answering the phone.
Providing exceptionally kind service for all guests.
Pre-bussing tables in the dining room.
Bussing/cleaning tables inside the restaurant and on the patio.
Helping clean the bar top as needed.
Replacing sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets.
Cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing work areas.
Assisting with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, dishes, etc.
Completing assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Running food to tables in the dining room and patio.
Completing sidework and closing duties as assigned per shift.
