As a Server, at The Bancroft you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in fine dining, high-volume restaurant.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, carry a tray, and lift 30lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Check on guests frequently to ensure their needs are met and they are enjoying their experience.
- Provide recommendations for menu items and specials, and beverages.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
