About The Position
Labriola Ristorante is seeking talented servers to join their team. As a server, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for guests by providing outstanding customer service, delivering delicious Italian dishes with care, and fostering a warm, inviting atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu will make guests feel at home while enjoying authentic Italian food.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is preferred upon hire but not required. Employee must obtain this certification no later than 30 days after hired.
Responsibilities
- Taking customers' food and drink orders
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
- Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
