About The Position

Join the team at Firerock Lounge as a Server and be part of one of Whistler’s most refined and intimate cocktail and wine destinations. FireRock is known for its warm atmosphere, expertly crafted cocktails, curated wine list, and elevated service standards. We’re looking for a polished, guest-focused server who understands the art of hospitality — someone who can read the room, guide guests through thoughtful drink selections, and deliver seamless service from first pour to final toast. The ideal candidate is confident, attentive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for cocktails, wine, and creating memorable, high-touch guest experiences. Requirements

Previous serving experience in a cocktail lounge, upscale bar, or restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of wine, classic cocktails, and premium spirits (craft cocktail experience is a major asset).
A polished, professional presence with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Ability to deliver elevated, attentive service while remaining calm and composed.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with guests.
Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for timing, pacing, and presentation.
Comfort using POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions accurately.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a refined but fast-paced setting.
19+ years old with a valid Serving It Right certification.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for an exceptional experience.
Guide guests through the cocktail and wine menu with confident, thoughtful recommendations.
Take and deliver orders accurately, ensuring drinks are presented beautifully and served with care.
Maintain a clean, polished, and guest-ready service environment at all times.
Work closely with bartenders and support staff to ensure smooth, seamless service flow.
Create meaningful guest connections that encourage repeat visits.
Process payments efficiently and accurately using POS systems, cash, or credit.
Uphold all safety, cleanliness, and Serving It Right standards.
Support teammates and contribute to a calm, professional, and collaborative team environment.
Assist with additional duties as required.
