About The Position
The Server is responsible for establishing brand loyalty by consistently delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal server is a team player with a positive attitude who is passionate about making guests feel at home in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Server in a full service, fast paced restaurant
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service)
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Great communication skills
- Valid California ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to restaurant and introduce menu offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and communicate food allergies to kitchen staff.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system.
- Upsell menu offerings whenever possible.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner and ensure they are enjoying a pleasant dining experience.
- Take initiative to correct any mistakes or unsatisfactory guest experiences.
- Accurately present guests checks and process payment in a timely manner.
- Deliver food to tables and assist in additional tasks wherever needed.
- Complete side work and other projects assigned by management.
