About The Position

At Oyster House at PHL, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will be the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering positive relationships with patrons. Additionally, you will collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management skills will be utilized daily to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tables efficiently.
• Attention to detail is crucial when taking orders and serving food to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
• Experience working in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, will enhance the dining experience by allowing you to make informed recommendations to guests.
