About The Position

John Knox Village features 7 individual dining outlets spread out over 400 acres of residential property, each with a unique menu and style of service. These outlets include Fireside (cafeteria), Lakeside Grille (quick service restaurant), Courtyard Café, Places Restaurant, Stories Public House, Metropolitan (full service restaurants), and the Coffee Shoppe. Most outlets operate as scratch kitchens, with Courtyard Café, Places, Stories Pub, and Metropolitan being 70-99% scratch made-to-order. Lakeside offers a mix of cook-to-order and batch cooking, while Fireside primarily uses batch cooking. All kitchens are led by chefs, with prep and line cooks working under their guidance. Check averages vary by outlet, from $6.50 at Fireside to $20.00 at Metropolitan. All outlets offer flexible hours and both full-time and part-time positions. Full-time positions are benefit-eligible, including up to 5 weeks of PTO. Operating hours range from 7 am to 8 pm, avoiding late-night shifts.
