About The Position

Servers are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards. This role involves delivering warm, memorable hospitality with every interaction, guiding guests through the menu with enthusiasm, and anticipating guest needs. Servers work closely with their team to ensure smooth operations, handle orders and payments accurately, and create a welcoming atmosphere. The role requires staying calm in a high-volume environment, adhering to cash handling policies, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding safety and sanitation guidelines. Servers also participate in training, communicate guest feedback to management, and report inventory or equipment issues.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences.
  • 1-2 years of prior serving experience.
  • Great grasp of restaurant steps of service.
  • Familiarity with basic beer, liquor, and wine.
  • Fluent + fully conversational in English.
  • Must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment.
  • Must obtain ServeSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of employment.
  • Lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Staying active throughout your shift.
  • Being on your feet, moving, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Open availability is a must. Schedules may vary; early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to creating a positive environment for guests and team members.
  • Must meet local age requirements for serving alcohol where applicable.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, memorable hospitality with every interaction.
  • Follow OTG steps of service and standard operating procedures.
  • Guide guests through the menu with enthusiasm, highlighting items, making suggestions, and supporting guests with dietary needs or allergies.
  • Anticipate guests' needs.
  • Work closely with the team to keep the dining floor running smoothly.
  • Handle orders, payments, and special requests with accuracy and a positive attitude.
  • Create an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to come back.
  • Stay calm when things get busy in a high-volume atmosphere.
  • Adhere to OTG cash handling and register policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized dining area and service stations.
  • Uphold all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Support team members whenever needed.
  • Notify the Manager on Duty (MOD) of guest feedback or concerns.
  • Report signs of intoxication to the MOD.
  • Inform leadership of low inventory or equipment issues.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the OTG leadership team.
