Server (Part-Time - AM Shift, Temporary) - (Fork Lore) Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park
About The Position
Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality. Why join our team at Fork Lore? As a Fork Lore Server, you will maintain the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork as per standards of service. Create a warm, inviting atmosphere when interacting with guests and assist in ensuring that the guest has a positive experience. Guide guests through all phases of their Biltmore Farms restaurant experience from greeting and seating to servicing with a smile. Familiarize yourself with menus, ingredients, presentation and proper food service standards. Complete all duties and procedures as put forth by our Restaurant Management Team. Train in restaurant, as well as banquet-style service. Have a "can-do", pleasant and upbeat attitude while providing exceptional service to our guests. Be proactive and anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly. Must be available for AM Shift Thursday through Sunday.
Requirements
- Must be available for AM Shift Thursday through Sunday
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and working knowledge of the food and beverage industry
- Ability to lift and carry trays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible and willing to work wherever needed
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of experience in the Food Service Industry
- At least one year in a hotel setting
- Have a working knowledge of food and wine
