About The Position

Otter Co-op is seeking a Part-Time Server for their Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, BC. Otter Co-op is a diverse and growing organization with over 103 years in business, operating various businesses including food and pharmacy stores, liquor stores, a feed mill, petroleum facilities, a pub, and gas station/convenience stores. They are a locally owned and community-minded organization serving the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, and BC Interior.

Requirements

• Previous Serving experience an asset
• Knowledge and appreciation for beer and wine pairings is an asset
• Valid Serving it Right Certificate required
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Able to work efficiently in a team setting as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a strong work ethic
• This position is based at the Highwayman Pub, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work from other locations as business needs arise

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and processing payments
• Maintain a positive attitude while providing an exemplary guest experience
• Cleaning, restocking and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
• Navigate and operate the POS System
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned
