About The Position
Queen Maeve is a brand-new, upscale bar and restaurant in the heart of New York City. We are dedicated to delivering a vibrant yet refined experience, with exceptional service, world-class cocktails, and elevated cuisine. We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and service-driven Servers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Requirements
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails is a must
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have or be able to obtain NYC Food Handler's Certification
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, friendly, and attentive service to all guests
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues quickly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of service areas and tables
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
