Server 8:30am-1pm $16-19.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Rushwood located at 2121 N 143rd St E, Wichita, KS 67230. This part-time position offers a pay range of $16 - $19.50 per hour and a shift schedule of Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. We are looking for an individual with a positive and energetic attitude who loves our residents and is able to perform the physical demands of the role.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
