About The Position

The Blackbird is hiring a full-time Server to join our team! We’re looking for an energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate provides friendly, attentive service and enjoys working as part of a strong team to create a great experience for every guest.

Requirements

• Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tables and guest needs
• Brunch and dinner availability is required, including weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverages
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house team members
• Check in with guests throughout their dining experience
• Process guest payments accurately
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
• Work together with the team during busy services
• Help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests
