About The Position
We are looking for a Server who brings friendly energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and grow. As a member of the team, you’ll help give our guests a dining experience they will never forget. Perkins American Food Co., founded in 1958, is the nation’s leading family restaurant, known for providing guests with friendly service and classic comfort dishes at a great price, including pancakes, waffles, breakfast all day, steak plates, burgers, handhelds, soups, salads, and iconic pies. Requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Prior serving experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction
- Greets guests promptly, assists with menu selection, and makes recommendations when necessary
- Accurately takes and places orders, delivering them promptly once prepared
- Addresses guests' concerns or issues, escalating to management as needed
- Maintains cleanliness of tables, dining area, and pantry during shift
- Completes all side work as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
