About The Position

1909 Gastropub in Old Town Temecula is seeking Servers who are passionate and excited about providing an exceptional guest experience! Requirements

MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Must have at least 2 Years of Serving Experience in a sit-down restaurant
Must be Customer Focused and Portray Customer Focused Attitude
Must always display High Level of Respect while serving guests
Always keeping a positive and upbeat attitude
Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
Must speak fluent English; Excellent verbal communication
Works well and efficiently under pressure
Flexibility and willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts
Reliability and Punctuality is a must
Takes pride in professional appearance
Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting or carrying 25 or more pounds, carrying, talking, sitting, able to wipe down bar, tabletops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to push vacuum or mop.

Responsibilities

Creates an upbeat, positive and fun guest experience
Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails, beer, wines, specialty coffees; suggesting courses; answering food preparation questions
Communicates orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests’ choices, identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs, observing guest process
Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to other special needs
Concludes guest experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant, inviting guests to return
Protects restaurant and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed
Perform additional tasks to support overall success of restaurant
