About The Position

The Village Inn Restaurant, which serves the members at the Independent Living Apartment Community on the Lutheran Life Villages South Anthony Blvd campus, is hiring a full-time Server! If you enjoy working with the senior population, have great communication skills, and excellent attention to detail, apply today! This is a full-time position; all restaurant staff are required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Excellent customer service focus
• Ability to follow directions
• Genuine enthusiasm to help others
• Ability to engage in conversation with members and staff
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately takes members meal orders
• Serves food and drinks properly
• Removes used dishes as needed and resets tables for next meal service
• Cleaning duties and sidework as assigned
