About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Server to join our dining services team at an assisted living community specializing in memory care. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining experiences to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and satisfaction during meal times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dining services, preferably in assisted living or memory care settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors with memory impairments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow established procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist residents with memory care needs during dining, providing support and encouragement as needed.
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a healthy dining environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address any special dietary needs or preferences.
• Monitor residents during meals to ensure their well-being and report any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as required.
