You will guide guests through the menu with knowledge and care, deliver thoughtful and attentive service and help create a warm, welcoming environment where every guest feels connected and valued.

Requirements

Team player + positive attitude
Strong customer service skills
Excellent oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
1 year Front-of-House (FOH) experience as a server/food-runner/host
Service experience in a fast-paced environment
Ability to acquire a valid Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certification. RBS (alcohol) certification (before or within 2 + weeks of hiring)

Responsibilities

Educate customers about food, ingredients and culture
Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting a menu, offering cocktails, suggesting courses, identifying appropriate wines and answering food and preparation questions
Be personable, always greet patrons, engage with a positive attitude, and make a point to remember regulars
Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a family and warm atmosphere
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately with a positive attitude
Enter orders in computers for transmission to kitchen staff
Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
Promptly address customer service issues and refer customer to management to necessary
Collect payments from tables
Prepare checks that itemize the total meal costs and sales taxes
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Fill in for absent staff as needed
Comply with health and safety codes
