Tender Mercy/Dozo, Dayton's underground cocktail lounge featuring Omakase Sushi pop-up Dozo by The Idea Collective, is always looking to meet amazing hospitalitarians. Personality, passion, and warmth are key. A Tender Mercy server's ultimate goal is to create an experience, understanding that people dine out for escapism, diversion, and to add spice to their lives. The team aims to build a service team that finds joy in creating joy. Service is defined as the steps taken to help a guest have a good time, while hospitality is the genuine desire for them to do so. The style of service will be relaxed fine dining. Staff will be expected to have a deep knowledge of the food menu (preparation, history, etc.), cocktail offerings, and wine list. The company values continued education and will provide routine training sessions and periodic testing of service and menu knowledge.
