About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join their team at the Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport. Servers are the face of the restaurant and are responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role involves preparing the restaurant for service, greeting guests, presenting menus, taking accurate orders, and ensuring timely and accurate bill presentation. The ideal candidate will be an early riser, quick on their feet, possess an engaging attitude, and have a genuine passion for service. Requirements

Must be an early morning individual
Engaging and welcoming personality
Ability to be descriptive and sell
2-4 years of food service experience
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
Understand menu details to enhance guest conversation
Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
