About The Position

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a friendly and dependable Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our senior residents at Luther Oaks Senior Living. This role is crucial in enhancing the dining experience for seniors, promoting healthy food choices, and serving meals in a responsible, efficient, and courteous manner. The Server contributes to an environment where residents receive a fulfilling and nourishing meal, delivered with customer service that puts the company's Vision into Action by “Providing Real Food and Genuine Service while building Enduring Relationships.”

Requirements

16 years or older, pending specific state requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong teamwork skills.
Successful background check and drug screen, state specific
Health screening and TB tests, state specific
ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card, state specific
Alcohol awareness certification state specific
The ability to work holiday and weekend shift schedules
Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with one-on-one customer service interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet residents, guests and family members in a prompt, professional and courteous manner, and escort for proper seating
Take, prepare, and serve beverage orders
Take orders and process transactions, using the Point-of-Sale System
Prepare and serve orders, according to the established health and presentation standards
Clear and clean dining room tables in a prompt and efficient manner
Sanitize and clean the pantry, kitchen, and dining room areas, as outlined according to health and safety standards
Perform side-work and any opening and closing duties as required, such as dishes are washed, and stations areas are clean and organized, salad prep
Alert management to any customer food, service or safety concerns
Ensure guest satisfaction with excellent customer service skills
Other duties as required and assigned
