About The Position

By the Sea Resorts is seeking experienced servers for our Barefoot Hideaway and Barefoot on the Beach locations. The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and ensuring that they have a positive dining experience. They must be able to take and fulfill drink and food orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations. They must also be able to work quickly and efficiently, and they must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• No experience need but appreciated

Responsibilities

• Take and fulfill drink and food orders
• Answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations
• Promote additional items, specials and beverages to increase sales
• Present food and beverages in an appealing manner
• Check back on guests to ensure that they are satisfied with their meals
• Clear and clean tables
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Process payments; handle cash and credit card transactions
